MS 2016 - Navigation - No blue line, no auto-zoom

Since around 11/2021, I'm having intermittent issues with my navigation not auto-zooming on the main screen, nor showing the blue line there. I still get directions on the smaller screen. Had the chip replaced, MCU 1, version 2020.48.37.8. Any thoughts about what could be wrong? Tesla reset it remotely, but it happened again... Resetting (brake, both rollers) helps for about 1-3 weeks.

Navigation zooming on my 2020 long range zooming is sporadic. On a trip the weekend, it would only show the whole 400+ mile journey. I would zoom in, and seconds later it would zoom out. Coming to an intersection -- no change. Sometimes it would hold the zoom, but then it would only do this when the map was north up oriented, not on direction of travel. I have yet to figure out what is going on, but the NAV window in the small display seems to be pretty reliable, giving me the required information as you say.

I'm experiencing the same issue.

I have an update scheduled for tonight, and it says that there is a nav update included. Hopefully that fixes it -
