MS P90DL Battery Capacity 2016-2017

There's been some talk of failing batteries and reduced capacity with some P90DL's. So I checked my serial number and capacity difference over the last 12 months at 100% charge.

I expect the slight increase from 2016 to 2017 is a result of the slightly warmer temperature? If this is correct, it seems the battery capacity has remained the same?

I drive in ludicrous mode regularly and average about 4-5 launches a week.

The car has traveled 37,770 kilometres (23,500 miles)

2016: Typical 401 klms (249 miles); Rated 502 klms (312 miles) Temperature 18C

2017: Typical 403 klms (250 miles); Rated 504 klms (313 miles): Temperature 22c

Battery serial number: T15I0107862.

Has anyone else done a comparison like this, if so does this look within spec?

Also can anyone advise what battery version I have based on the serial number? If so, how many amps can that battery deliver - have I got a slow P90D?

Any input greatly appreciated

It's not often I charge to 100% but since around 40,000kms it shows 380kms typical, thats a P85D, I would say 387kms in your P90D is around the mark.

The P90D was sold as having 6% more range. Taking your numbers I should be on 403 km. Anyway, in real life it makes little difference and I still love my car so I refuse to let this bug me. Perhaps one day I'll put in a better battery.
