My car needs to go home to CA - How?

I've used Dependable Auto Shippers for terminal-terminal open transport and been pleased with the service. We are also moving our Model S to South Dakota from Virginia in January and I plan to use Interstate. They have a good reputation with exotic owners at 6speed. My quote for ~1200 miles was $1600. Also got a quote from Plycar who claims to be the "official" carrier for Tesla. That quote was $3000. I bet the quotes aren't based on mileage alone though. Your destination is way more common than South Dakota so imagine cost me be same if not less even though more distance. Good luck with the move!
