I was putzing around under the frunk tonight to try to track down a rattle, and removed the massive HEPA filter to get some more room. I noticed that there was a gasket on the HEPA filter, but it didn't actually mate up to anything.
Lo and behold... there's supposed to be a duct under the filter to connect it to the firewall intake, but there isn't one.
Is this the main intake, or is it only used when Bioweapon defense mode is enabled?? I'm assuming there are still a pair of charcoal filters inside the cabin, but is this HEPA filter a pre-filter of sorts?
I set up a mobile service appt for 2 weeks from now to get this part installed. Hopefully they don't give me any hassle...
