Nav is always yelling

I‘ve had several vehicles with built-in navigation. All of them would either lower the volume or mute completely the music that was playing while navigation announcements were actively being spoken. Not the Tesla, it just talks over the playing music. You can raise the nav volume all you want, it just yells louder. Makes no sense at all.

The Tesla nav system used to lower the music volume when talking, and I wish it still worked that way. All you can do now is lower the music volume and raise the nav volume.

I've made the mistake of adjusting my music volume right when nav starts talking which would end up changing the nav volume.

This is a minor pet peeve of mine as well. It should lower the volume of the other audio playing, not force you to turn up the navigation voice.

It definitely can, you can also adjust it with the steering wheel while the nav is talking. But, then the nav is just yelling louder and it still doesn’t fix the problem (unless you’ve got the music already set to a very low volume).
