Anyone noticed that Dyno Mode has changed - A LOT

Ya, I turned it on yesterday to check something. Super weird. Hard to get out of too.

Thats right, but that patent is so broad that its seriously infringing on being monopolistic. Also you know Mobileye is keeping a very close look at Tesla because of their past partnership but also because Mobileye is striving to be the first to market with a viable vision-based FSD system. For those reasons Tesla has to be extra careful with how they work around this patent or any other patents that Mobileye owns.

I hear they were nearing the release of some new FSD features, but not sure how the state of the world has impacted that timeline...I can imagine that if they release now it will encourage people to go out and test it at the risk of endangering themselves and others so they may have pushed it back. We will all just have to wait and see...

This will all get settled I think. As noted, Mobileye are working on FSD the stuff. You think Tesla doesn't have a pretty big patent portfolio in this space as well? Doesnt matter how good they are these days, it's all just about "look how many patents *I* have". After they have a stare-down competition, they will agree to cross-license, and things will go back to normal.

Patents are less valuable that toilet tissue these days (especially thanks to the virus)

I don't see anything unusual in that video. My model 3 has shown stop signs since I got it in December. I'm currently on 2020.4.1

He was noting that it used to be an empty red octagon, but now has the word STOP in it.

Also, I noticed 2020.12 is also picking up the smaller vertical "poles" (dont know what they are called) along the edge of freeways now. Not *certain* this is new, but I def dont recall seeing them before.

Wish I had that permanent regen bar on my Model S

It used to be there on the old round speedometer - now you have to dedicate and entire third of the display to a graph to see it

Not a big deal of course, but for some reason, I’m still seeing just an empty red octagon visualization whenever I pass by a stop sign. The word “STOP” is not showing up. Been driving around with the latest 2020.12 software update for several days now. Anyone else?

Seems to be situational as in the lighting is correct and whatnot. I’ve seen it put the wording on and then off then back on. Cool that it’s doing this but it’s still not picking up groceries for me yet!
