New/Better Subwoofer for Tesla Model Y!

FWIW, I have a rental Altima right now and the sound system is pathetic! We have it good with the Y and are only making it better. Talk about first world problems haha.

I was quoted $350 by two places in south OC just for install. I have all the parts already.

I have a JL 8W3, Rockford Fosgate R500X1D, and LC2i (not sure if this is needed). Never got around to putting them in my previous car.

Was the output for the new sub amplifier tapped from the Tesla amplifier sub out speaker output? And have you noticed time alignment issues from the subwoofer, with the added amplifier? Thanks, planning on doing the same thing.

So what is the recommendation here that balanced budget/stealth/upgrade?

A new sub only? Everything else stock?

And if the install is $350, what is total with parts?

Be great if someone could help post the different options for an old head trying to make some audiophile improvements!
