It sounds like she's saying the 70% greater range comes from the ability to remove the liquid cooling and make the cells that much larger. But that means the pack would cost more, not less, since it would have 70% more cell material to produce 70% more kWh of capacity. Is there some reason her cells would somehow be half the cost of Gigafactory cells? And that's ignoring any issues about diminished cell lifetime or performance due to being too hot or cold.
Interesting that her company would team up with Fiat-Chrysler, whose CEO is so openly dismissive of EVs. If their battery technology is so promising, you'd think they would pursue alliances with the likes of Tesla, GM, Nissan, Ford, or BMW.
