New M3P Coming; Seeking A few Answers from TMC Experts

1. When they deliver it this week, what defects seen in past cars should I look for? I know about inconsistent panel gaps, the left front fender rear upper corner touching the body, and paint missing under the trunk lid. Are there other areas that are prone to problems? Has anyone written a delivery check list?

2. I plan to sell the 20" wheels and summer performance tires very soon and replace them with more-robust forged 18" wheels and 0.45 profile tires better suited to New England. Is there a classified section of TMC where I could list them or better yet, is anyone in central MA interested?

3. Has anyone tried Michelin CrossClimate tires and how do they compare with the stock Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires?

Any answers will be highly appreciated.

For #3 I'd use the compare tire tool at tirerack.com. You can read reviews there and will get a better broad assessment than from here or other platform-specific forums.

I bookmarked this link a while back in Jan for when I take delivery. Prob a little overkill, but definitely will be using it. I should be getting delivery in June myself. I'll also have my friend there with me who has owned his SR+ since last summer to help. Hope this helps!

For #3, I have not, but this member has:

Seems like that person is seeing ~8-10% hit over the MXM4's. Note that he's in the northeast, so winter could be a factor.
