I have the 3D MAXpider mats which include the cubby mats, guess I'll leave them in place and that should raise them a bit for a more flush fit.

Will they fit with the cubby mats underneath them?

@rubyred do you have a 5-seater or 7-seater? If 7, try flipping over the under-trunk storage lid to see if that helps? On 7-seaters, it's reversible to offer up a flat floor when the seats or folded at the expense of a little space, or maximize space but with a "bump up" where it meets the folded down seats. I'm not describing this very well, and I don't have a 7-seater (nor these new cubby accessories), but it came to mind as a possible explanation for what you've reported.

I do. They fit. But they are not flush with the back storage lid in either position. I still like them them. They keep things from the back like groceries from falling in.

I've only seen these on Amazon so far for $50: Model Y Trunk Side Packets and for $17 Trunk Organizer Side Divider. But I like the carpeted tops from the OEM versions.

honestly for not much more than the 50 bucks, you get a much better made product and also includes the carpeted tops.

eoddc5: interesting, my passenger side was troublesome to install, but somehow, it finally popped into place, and now sits flush. The rubber bin just doesn't want to slide on the carpet.

My left side dropped in and fit like a glove, but I had to fight the right side. Once I got it seated after a few hours parked out in the sun, it finally molded itself to the car. Both covers fit perfectly, nice and flush. But removing the right side is a PITA, not so much for the left.

Received and installed mine today. Both fit snugly and tops are nice and flush. Right was a little harder to pop in, but fits perfectly. I like the smooth rubber surface for adding and removing items easily. Things slide in and out easier than before with carpeted walls. Very happy with purchase, and to me, they are worth the price.

Since it seems SOP here to complain, though, I’ll mention that the shipping box could be sturdier. It was pretty beat up when it arrived.

If you’re on the fence about the bins, I’d recommend going for it.

Like mine, as others have mentioned passenger side was harder to install but it popped in after a few attempts. Might just be in my head, but cabin seems a bit quieter now.

Quit yer bitchin'...my box was in perfect condition when mine arrived. Large, sturdy gray box. Maybe they've changed them???
I haven't needed to access the storage area yet. Since the tops fit perfectly, I don't even notice the storage area is there!!!!
