It certainly looks that way. We noticed here in the Seattle area that it went in waves based on VIN number. It makes sense.

Getting 1,100 Roadster owners and 2,200 Model S owners as unofficial salespeople is a good strategy. I will certainly be handing out the cards to anyone that asks about my Tesla Roadster.

Hopefully they can keep selling deposits for the Model S. Having a waiting list of 10,000+ cars would certainly instill confidence in the company. Each quarterly report the analysts will be asking about the Model S backlog. Tesla Motors has a lot of momentum right now.

1) Sucessful IPO raising over $200 million.
2) New Toyota partnership raising another $50 million after the IPO.
3) Low interest US gov't loan for $475 million.
4) Elon getting some spare cash from the IPO to repay his friends and make the ex-wife go away. :biggrin:

The world is looking like a brighter place all around.

I'm just a regular Model S P series reservation holder, and the VIP cards were in my package. Maybe it was an oversight?

As a 2010 #635 Roadster owner and Model S #R39 reservation holder, I got 2 Care packages. Very surprised. Not too shabby Tesla.
