New X Owner Question

A friend of mine just took delivery of their Model X. He didn’t get a leather keyfob holder for his key. Is that normal? When I picked up my Model X last year, it was still provided. Perhaps things have changed?

It's normal for me because I didn't get anything extra from Tesla for my 2012 Model S nor 2017 Model X deliveries.

No leather key holder for 2018 x delivery either. Keys came with a box

same here. took delivery end of sept of my 2nd X100D. they just handed me 2 keyfobs. no leather case, no box, no Tesla goodies (back in 2016, they gave me umbrella, coffee mug, pen, leather keyfobs). I didnt expect to get goodies with my purchase, but obviously with delivery volume increase, the attention to detail at delivery has gone down considerably.

Did not receive any leather key fob cases in Sep 2016 for my MX90. They did come in a nice black and red box though.

(back in 2016, they gave me umbrella, coffee mug, pen, leather keyfobs).

Yeah, we did get the umbrellas, mugs and pens. They also threw in a couple shirts and the sunshades, though I don't think that was standard practice. They were being very generous or they gave us the ones that "fell off the truck."

Feb 2018 MX delivery here. No leather cases, but they did come in a nice black/red box as others above. I put my key in a silicone sleeve for protection.
