My husbands M3 has a sound when backing up (sounds like a spaceship humming noise) but my MY doesn’t make any sound when I reverse. Is it supposed to? Is this something I need to put a service appointment for?
Maybe make a ranger appointment? Spaceship reverse is the best newer feature. Post the beginning of your VIN if you are willing and someone in that range can tell you if they have it.

My VIN is 42,7xx if anyone near that can let me know. I’d love to have that feature installed, just want to make sure it wasn't supposed to come with it and I didn’t get it.
It won't be a mandatory requirement on 100% of new EVs for another 6 months. I believe it's only currently required on a small percentage of current production.
