No wifi while driving in v8.0

It was resolved I think with updates. Also if you connect after putting it in drive everything is all good.

Almost year later I still have the same issue, WiFi disconnects when i put the car in D or R.
I am on version 2017.34 2448cfc.
Is there any hint that I am missing?
Still very annoying every single day as I have to manually select my Mobile hotspot

@pcemerikic did you email tesla? I'd imagine once tesla wants to charge for data, this will be an issue

The WiFi receivers are in the mirrors, and can easily be interfered with. When I used a mobile hotspot, I had to put it on the dash to work. Anywhere else, it would drop out.

I have the same issue - seems to be by designe. I have to choose my wifi 4G+/LTE portable modem after the S is set in D or R, sometimes I have problem seeing the wifi hotspot so I have to scroll wheel restet when driving
