ok folks, this is not a is 21 better than 19 thread, im looking for actual answers. lots of people have said get the 19 and better tires. ive been looking all over tire size calculators info and there is not much out there better than pilot sports within 1% diameter difference regardless of wheel sizes. so maybe im just failing here.

what tire size and what wheel size are aftermarket people running and... well thats if for now. i might have more questions based on the answers

more on this. surprised to see no responses, given how passionately people down talk the 21" package.

browsing around tireRack this morning in the ultra high performance summer and max performance summer it really seems that the highest rated tires are indeed the pilot super sports, i can only find one other tire that comes close, bridgstone Pole Position runflat, but even those dont have as good of ratings.

so unless there is some smaller tire maker that im not seeing, like federal...

I have the 19" Potenza as my second set of tires and my wh/mile have gone up by about 10%. Just adding info.

have only used OEM conti's and Hankook Ventus in 21" in classic RWD P85. Hankook seem to last 25-50% longer than the conti's but definitely has less grip, rear end struggles with traction more than when I had the conti's. Great for mileage, not so for launching. No real difference that I could detect in wh/mi.
