Contact Tesla, I was told it would push back my delivery date when I wanted to change from White to Blue.
Yep - the issue I have is that it wasn’t an option. They forced home delivery and would not do delivery at the SC specified in my original order.
I asked and they remotely unlocked the car so I could inspect the interior before accepting delivery.
Finally got someone to remove home delivery. Now scheduled for Plano on Saturday.
Because the system has a field called factory gated date. It's when their internal planning system anticipates the vehicle will be built. This is separate from the EDD you see. I've had EDDs I knew were very low probability of being real because they were prior to the factory gated date (it can move like EDD, the point is they aren't specifically linked). This date, which they aren't supposed to tell you, is also referred to as a Soft Match date.
Just curious what time slots were available? I thought it was odd that it was 3 or 4p on all 3 days for me.
Same model and EDD for me. It was pushed to Jul/Aug last week and now it’s pulled to Jun/Jul.
they didn’t let me pick. Just got a rather terse text that it was moved to Democracy Drive. The app reflected 4pm, which was the beginning of my drop off window for home delivery.
Congrats! My OD is 1 week later than yours, with white interior. My EDD is still July 28 to Sep 8. I am also in Socal.
