I think it's new - wasn't there earlier in the week when I looked!

Viva Energy are an applicant at some sites - I guess these will be the new OTR places?

From clicking around, seems to mostly be made up of

Evie
BP
Viva Energy
Tesla
there is a nice 10bay ampcharge one at eastern creek- good to see the servos getting bigger that one or two

yeah, the ruler sucks!! limited blurb on website so far

Round 2 of the grants allocated $44.8 million in co-funding to successful applicants

Applications for round 2 of the fast-charging grants opened on 9 December 2022 and closed on 14 March 2023. The NSW Government received bids from 14 organisations, proposing a total of 224 EV fast charging stations.

Co-funding for 104 fast charging stations across 8 applicants has now been approved.

you have to be gentle to avoid the ruler

Can't seem to download the layer to dump to a spreadsheet which was how the Google Maps version of 1sr Round was created.
I flicked an email to the address on the maps popup (when you first open it) about not being able to download either layer.

Heck. How do you get rid of the ruler.
I just clicked to set a point, then pressed the ESC key.

How many Tesla sites have you found?

Looks like more DCFC going in at Tramsheds not from Tesla.

And I did spot at least one NRMA site in there

Good hunting everyone!

I haven't been able to find any additional Tesla sites apart from what has already been listed.

I'll add the first five entries below to supercharge.info (the two at the end unfortunately don't have precise enough address data to get an exact location - although Ewingsdale Rd I expect would be near the Pacific Highway junction, there are lots of options there):

I agree, the double-ups are a bit unusual. I guess if Tesla gets another lead on a promising site they'd be silly not to follow it, considering how many potential delays and roadblocks can occur.

For @Chuq in case you have trouble with the maps. Still not sure exactly what I did to end ruler and start normal cursor mode but not the above.

I think that will give you addresses of all the Tesla sites other and I have spotted in this new round for supercharge.info
Might have still missed one or two though.

[Edit, too late he's already on it!]

This site was in Round 1 and is now appearing in Round 2. I guess Ampol some how arranged some form of extension like thing.

Wait it is still there just underneath,

It is a dual services location. One eastbound one westbound. So two 10 stall Ampcharge sites on the M4...

BP like Ampol also stepping into providing charging outside of the service station arena,

And not only following Ampol, they are stealing their (potential) sites!. As I noted here Ampol AmpCharge network Ampol in Round 1 had a large number of Charter Hall sites and that Charter Hall has a 49% stake in BP retail. Maybe Ampol just gave them ideas. Might be interesting to see if any Round 1 Ampol/Charter Hall sites are followed through on...

Thanks for the tip on Esc.

Agree possibly some amendments to addresses in Phase One in those Phase Two entries.

Tesla has 15 at Raymond Terrace Phase One, 10 at Heatherbrae Phase Two, all very near an existing site.

Similarly 15 at Coffs Harbour in Phase One and Phase Two with existing site.

Ballina / Byron (Ewingadale) probably far enough apart.

--

Evie has proposed an 8-stall site at Bondi Beach, Merrylands, Tempe, Wolli Creek. Most of the others are 4-stall.

Gemtek has seemingly worked on the NRMA rollout, so maybe connected?

But NRMA also has some new city sites under its own name - Cammeray, Dapto

And good to see U or Wollongong getting funding.

Without being able to dump the data I'd say Evie and Viva are the big winners.

Tritium has previously flagged the PKM400 in calls though hasn't formally launched it.

Our technology road map sees us launching a Buy America and NEVI-compliant 400-kilowatt modular and scalable charger in 2024, which will be a fully liquid cooled and IP65-rated distributed charging system. We’ve already received a high level of interest from existing and potential customers to purchase units as soon as they become available in the second half of 2024

For those that want to persist on mobile.

Off to the side somewhere double tap. Then to test it took hold double tap somewhere else, it will then zoom slightly. You can then select sites by touch as per previous versions of the map.

If you end up with a really long ruled path, and it is slowing your device down, you can select the ruler in the top left and start new measurement, then try the double tap again.
