Taking it’s a typo on tire size of the 22s. Are those sold going to customers or available?

@SignatureSales - thanks for the 20” sv104 set.

I weighed all the wheels (what else is there to do while waiting for the car but having the wheels in advance)

Rear 10.5” wheels come in at 22.33 and 22.31 lbs - 9 gram difference

Front 9.5” wheels come in at 21.61 and 21.65 lbs - 18 gram difference

That’s some fine tolerances you guys have :)
Wow! just slightly over 1/2lb difference between front and back widths for 1”. That’s nutty.

Many thanks to Jamie in walking me through the 100 questions I asked him before making the purchase for my 20” 705s (and my wife’s 501s for her M3P). I had them mounted yesterday and then went on a 350mile road trip right after. Need to take a more proper picture, but this was at my first usage of a supercharger. Love how the fitment turned out (for both cars). Now to lower it soon as N2itive gets there links back in stock…

Car looking good W! Loving the black out look with a touch of neon yellow/green accent👌

Right now, I can not recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4s. They have a constant hum/howl sound from 40 - 75mph. It is loud and very annoying.

After my post yesterday where I mentioned I was running All seasons, another Plaid owner PM'd me and asked me if I was hearing a hum/howl at the same speeds I was. I only had about 10 miles on them yesterday, but today I put 135 miles on them and that howl is definitely a deal breaker. I'm hoping break in after about 500 miles fixes this, but my hopes are not high.

The other user that reached out has had them longer and taken it to both the SC and his tire shop. This is what they told him:

"the combination of specific width of wheels and tires on these tires is creating a resonance due to wind channeling in the pits thats creating the noise. There's little we can do about it except going narrower or stretching out the tire more"

I have an appointment with the SC in a week for alignment (my steering is slightly off center, from day one) and height adjustment/settings for 20" rims running the tire sidewall that I am. I'll post back if that solves anything.

Besides the howl, the tires very good and really grippy. I did a few 0-60 launches today and consistently got 2.32 - 2.35 on uneven road with barely any slip (285 fronts and 305 on rear). They are also fairly quiet above 80+ and on good condition roads, otherwise you will hear everything.

My opinion on these tires has changed now that I’ve put about 1500 miles on them.

The humming/howling I was experiencing before has subsided considerably. Almost gone completely but a little still there from 50-55mph, but even those speeds is about 80% less than before.

They also seem quieter and smoother at all speeds then when I first put them on. Still not as quiet as PS4s with noise foam

They still grip like crazy too. I would probably buy these again.

My Model S LR with the Arachnid 21" wheels and summer performance tires is slated for delivery in November here in Northern Virginia. Not ideal for the winter temperatures and conditions here.

With Jamie's help, I decided to go with Signature SV103s, Gloss Black, 19x9, with the same offset for front and back wheels so I can do a 4-wheel rotation (at least with non-directional tires). Jamie's experience with different setups was invaluable. He clearly understood the different tire requirements for LR v. Plaid, the tradeoffs between staggered and square, etc.

Just too many potholes for me to go with 20s for all season tires.

I'm leaning to the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus tires. I've had good experience with them on heavy (Jeep SRT) and lighter (Mustang GT) performance cars, so I'm hoping they will do well on the Model S.
