I'm always amazed by how much debris the mud flaps block. Well worth the occasional scrapes. The scrapes are just a noise problem.

Had the same issue when my Tesla charger was installed a few months ago -- supply chain issues on 60 amp. I've run the 50 amp with no issues since November. I'd only bother with an upgrade if my daily mileage was impacting my recharge time. Very unlikely.

All refresh S and X have the yoke. I've come to really appreciate it. Of course, I won't be taking my Model S LR to the track.

I have the same issue. Any tricks to get it to work again (other than the passage of time)? It's important to have multiple audio sources because one or two of them won't be working at any given time.

No indication that the dot is loose or coming off. If it does, I have a few sheets of replacements. It might be worth trying one on the headlight button as well.

I haven't had to use the horn in an "emergency" situation. I practice reaching my thumb to the dot to build muscle memory. Very easy to find the horn button that way, without being obtrusive.

I have about 900 miles on these on my 2021+ Model S. Very predictable, good wet traction. Limited snow / ice experience on the S. I've had great experience with the Plus on a Chysler 200C (V6 - AWD), and with the prior version on a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT and Mustang GT. Very competent all seasons.

The title for my Model S (requested 11/27/21) was issued and linked to my DMV account earlier today. DMV staff told me that if they have the "tracking number" (Tesla may have it), they can give an update on status.

Sensitivity seems to be about the same. Press the dot and the horn sounds. Just running your thumb over it without pressing does not sound the horn. Still haven't had to try it in an emergency, but test it every so often.

As promised, here are photos - 19x9" Signature SV103's - Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus. Ride on the Continentals is excellent. More comfortable than the Michelin Pilot Sports, but plenty of grip and no loss in acceleration. No opportunity to test them in the wet or snow yet.

My Model S had 8 miles on delivery. The SC staff said that they put 15 miles as the minimum number on the delivery odometer statement.

I'm testing out a low-tech solution to the horn issue. I put a 12mm transparent epoxy dot (sourced from Etsy) over the horn icon. Easier to quickly find with your thumb and does change the look much. Tested to make sure it can be removed without damaging the Yoke.

Getting an electrician to call you back may not be the only problem. Supply chain issues may impact your options. I added a subpanel in my garage so I could support more than one EV, no 60 amp circuit breakers were available. Went with 50s instead. I can always upgrade later if I need to.

You have to check regularly because you never know when the delivery monkey might pull a "crazy Ivan" and your date gets moved up. At least that is what I hope would happen.

Is the wiper voice command a viable option? I don't believe it triggers a wash based on what I've read.
