OK to Push the Tesla, Tow switch?

We have to take the ferry to the mainland (Galveston) and often cars that fail to start or run have to get pushed off so other cars can load/unload. So if something happened and we get stranded on the ferry is it possible to push off or are we really stranded? A dead volt 12 volt battery may cause this, is that right?

I’m in seattle and have wondered this myself. I hope as long as one can get the car into tow mode or neutral it shouldn’t be a problem. But as you said if the 12v dies it probably will not be pushed and will need a jump first.
trying to find out now if we get a warning that 12 volt battery is beginning to die. (probably not). I had seen somewhere a post saying not to push the car more than some insanely short distance say four or five or ten feet. Trying to check on that as well. here is what I found from the manual.
