Out of curiosity, how long did it take for the cheque to arrive after receiving the approval email? Someone who posted a picture of their cheque earlier shows the Ministry Of Finance issuing the cheque, even though the Ministry Of Transport is handling the rebate now (Not sure if this is always the case for cheques received from the provincial government).
10 days for me. Got the email on the 11’th and the cheque on the 21’st.
Was just gonna ask the same thing!Anyone received the check without receiving the approval email? I submitted on June 7, but no approval email yet, still hopeful the check is in the mail lol
Approval email was Jan 11th, received it in the mail Jan 22nd. Cheque does say Ministry of Finance.Out of curiosity, how long did it take for the cheque to arrive after receiving the approval email? I received confirmation today that i'm in line for payment but that there is a 3 week backlog for payment processing right now.
When did you submit your application?

Got the cheque! June 6 delivery and application. Feels good! Hope you all get yours soon. Car feels cheaper now lol. Now to pay down the loan or invest...
Never got an approval e-mail and my cheque came yesterday. Was just gonna ask the same thing!
Having been unsuccessful trying to get a response from the EHVIP email address for over a week... I called the Ombudsman who gave me a phone number for the Policy & Planning Division at MTO (which I guess is how they reach out to them). Left a message with a very nice lady there who assured me she'd have the manager in charge of the EHVIP program call me back.
Received a call from someone in the Transportation Programs Office, who left a message saying my application has been approved and I should receive payment in 10 - 15 days.
Note sure if it had already been pointed out in this thread prior, but the Ombudsman did mention that they were told the reason the MTO took over was because the applications for dealerships were being processed by MTO where as the individual applications were being processed by MoF. Apparently it made sense to combine the the processing of both types of applications in one place, and such the MTO took over.
