Ordered My X

My OA is assuring me "guaranteed delivery" by the end of September if I order by Friday.

Anyone have a referral code available that is willing to part with the Kid's Model S (or the wall charger) and still is valid for free supercharging? I'm likely to order before Friday. been holding out to find an inventory match, but just hasn't happened all summer.

BTW Tesla released a lot of inventory cars recently on the Tesla website.

Hey guys was traveling and wanted to update you on where I am at. On Aug 22nd I saw my Model X went into production and on Aug 28th I saw the message "Your Tesla has been built and is in transit from the factory". I reached out to my delivery specialist and asked for an ETA or at least a date range and all she said was "It looks like your car should arrive on September 26th".

Seems a little long for me but it makes sense if they are wanting to send it along with both of yours? What is your current statuses at this moment?

Thanks!

Mine went in production August 23 and just this morning August 31 it says in transit just like yours. I haven’t heard anything from the DS as of yet but my DS is a guy. His name is Brandon. I know the manager there I think I will reach out to him.

If I didnt reach out to mine I wouldnt have heard anything about the date as of yet. When I did talk to my DS around a month ago she said that now was an "interesting" time to order a Tesla because they are in the middle of changing and streamlining several processes and its not like it will delay the delivery, but it makes it harder to predict. Had you spoken to your DS before and did he say anything about that? Is it the manager of the Tesla Tysons Corner you know?

My DS changed 3 times and I never spoke to any of them. Yes it’s the Tysons store manager not the Tysons mall store.

My guess is your car is being stored and will be batched up with other to be shipped when they have enough going to your specific region. Tesla has a number of places here in Northern California where they park cars until they are shipped.

Hey guys, have you been given delivery dates? A few weeks ago I got a call from my DS who scheduled an appointment for me on September 26th but said that it might come sooner and that she would let me know. Mentioned again that due to changes in processes currently taking place predictability is is difficult. She said there is some formula used by Tesla that looks at transit distance, state regulations and whats required after the car arrives and before delivery, number of staff of the service center and also a few other factors to predict a date and that usually they are ready early. Is this similar to what your DS' told you two?

They have given me delivery date for today but I got a call from DS yesterday and delivery pushed back to 18th now. I guess all of our cars in the same train.
