Outstanding LR Orders

My weekly call to Tesla has again yielded no results. I'm still not VIN matched and told not to expect delivery in March, and that delivery will likely be from April. Of course we know here that actually means delivery from May or maybe even into June

I share your frustration. As I posted in the main delivery thread, my NHS Fleet Solutions order changed to "in stock - contact Fleet Solutions" over the weekend (more likely Friday, but I didn't check until Sat). Now, I know that in the Tesla terms, that does NOT mean that the car is literally sat in Leeds ready for pickup, but I thought it would at least mean that I have a date or would have a week soft allocation.

I called NHS, as instructed, and the woman said nope you're not matched and when I claimed that is the opposite to what I've been told she just said I'll have to call Tesla and offered no more help. Really not impressed. I emailed my more trustworthy contact at FS and he said, no you ARE matched, and that they're just waiting on a delivery date from Tesla. He advised to wait until the end of the day after Tesla were supposedly sending an updated list to them. Fingers crossed I'll know more by the end of the day, and I'm choosing to have faith in his message and wait to hear from them before contacting Tesla directly again.

I don't know who or what to believe.

In your situation, JupiterMan, I don't get why FSD would affect your order, it's daft. Surely a blue/white LR with those wheels without FSD would still be a match. It's only a software unlock that could be applied on collection, surely?

In your situation, JupiterMan, I don't get why FSD would affect your order, it's daft. Surely a blue/white LR with those wheels without FSD would still be a match. It's only a software unlock that could be applied on collection, surely?

Looking at the inventory, my best guess is that Tesla have under-estimated demand for LRs with 19" wheels (seen quite a few SR+ with this option, but not many LRs) and also underestimated white interiors where there have been precious few (except for White/White combination).

The FSD is probably just the icing on the cake!

Looking at the sunny side, it's a good job I did not order my EV charger though back in January, as with this delay it is possible I would have missed the OLEV grant had I ordered back then, costing me a further £500

You lucky people. I'm still waiting for a delivery confirmation. No contact from Tesla, Lex or the ability to see status on tesla account as the car isnt linked to my account yet. Although this car was ordered in November my original order for a M3P was in early August...

Rang Tesla, and was told the car was either in the country or about to dock and that I only had an estimate. I asked if I was 100% matched and he said yes, then out of the blue he said actually the car is registered, here's your reg. Pick is pencilled in for 6th March but we're awaiting the confirmation from leaseplan.

I'm now just waiting on NHS, Leaseplan, and Tesla all talking so I can get my train booked

I ordered a white/white LR with 19 inch wheels on the 13th Feb, got the confirmation email. Changed it from PCP to cash on the 27th Feb.

Have heard nothing since. No hidden VIN as yet.
