Ownership transfer timetable

9/24 - Called Tesla, support sent e-mail with info right then. Quoted 3-5 business days
9/27 - I sent the requirements
10/3 - I followed up in e-mail as nothing had happened yet
1.5 hours later, received response saying info was received and would be 1-2 business days
10/9 - Received e-mail transfer had been complete (may have gone through on the 8th, can't remember)
Seems that if I was more on them, it would've gone through faster maybe? But much longer than the 3-5 days in my case. Quite possible it's a case by case situation. Hope your transfer goes faster!

Minor gripe, but I'm a little annoyed that they need the state registration to do this. My name and info is already on the account as a secondary contact. I've had my car for over two months but still can't initiate the transfer because I don't have my registration yet.

Nice, that was quick. My registration papers just came in the mail this morning so I can finally get this process started.
