P+ track mode greyed out

The ‘track mode’ icon on my new P3+ is greyed our and I can’t select it. Has anyone else found this and resolved this?

Got it in park ( not drive or reverse)?

Must be in park and might need to have brake pedal pressed as well, can't remember for sure.

I noticed track mode was greyed out on collection, I mentioned it to the handover chap and he said the the cameras needed to calibrate first.

The cameras were calibrated by the time I got home and track mode wasn’t greyed out anymore (didn’t try it though)

I must admit that's I've not even looked where track mode it to check!

You need to be in Park (P) to change into track mode, you can't do it in any other gear

From the manual:

Track Mode is always disabled when you start Model 3. To enable Track Mode for your current drive, shift into Park, then touch Controls > Driving > Track Mode. When enabled, TRACK displays on the touchscreen above the driving speed. You can disable Track Mode at any time by turning the setting off on the touchscreen.

Track Mode remains on even after you exit your vehicle to quickly cool powertrain systems between driving sessions. Track Mode automatically turns off when the vehicle is sufficiently cooled or if the vehicle is powered off and you power it back on again.
