Paint starting to turn Matte on rear wheel well tips after 15k miles

15,000 miles / 1 New England winter in and all 4 rear wheel well tips are exhibiting what I would call "matte-ing". I'm not sure how else to describe it. Service indicates environmental factors / non warranty. 75D Midnight Silver Metallic. Anyone else experience this/resolve it? Thank you.

Get some pieces of xpel film covering those areas

The gloss of the film restores the gloss look of the area. And you will prevent further paint abrasion. And you can change the film every couple years when it starts to lose its luster.
