Parts Replacement Order [question about airbag replacement]

Hello Tesla family. I recently bought a Tesla that was involved in an accident (model 3 long range AWD). I believe I bought all the replacement parts for the car but not the knowledge on order of what to change. Airbag (curtain), pyro fuse, and srs module. My big concern is replacing the airbag then them going off again for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just some fatherly advice. That kind of service is best left to the pros. Would you bet your life on having done the repair properly?

Under normal circumstances I would do just that but my car doesn't roll and I can't get it into town mode. The closest dealership is an hour away from me so my current best option is to get it out of park or put on the parts I just bought.

I have installed airbags before. I just wanted to confirm the order. Wasn't sure if it's different with electric cars.

If anyone else was curious after A LOT of research I found out it's srs module first, pyro fuse second then airbags last

how did you order the Pyro fuse? In my parts catalog is restricted to order.

I ended up getting it from eBay. It is a restricted part. Basically everything to do with the electronics is restricted.

Did the seatbelt restraint go off? I had to send mine to get repaired as Tesla wouldn’t sell me one.

If LH front airbag deploy most probably seatbelt will need to be fix...google that. my airbag....and others can do that via mail. just disconnect HV and 12V (in that order) when working with airbags so no surprise.

Did the seatbelt restraint go off? I had to send mine to get repaired as Tesla wouldn’t sell me one.

It did. I was going to bypass it for the time being (since Tesla won't sell me one) just so I can move it since it won't go into town mode.

No it is not. Airbag deployed so pyro fuse, module, impact sensors and seatbelts need to be replaced.

I hope you still here on the forum. Looks like you gained a lot of knowledge rebuilding your Tesla. Would you know if the SRS module Carrie’s the vin number. In other words, can I get one on eBay and use it without programming?

Tesla knows when the airbags and pyro goes off. I'm not sure you will be able to supercharge without Tesla recertifying it.

I've had no issue with supercharging. My car is not branded.
