PCS broke for the second time?

I feel sorry for a friend and her family.. second long weekend trip and their Model 3 wouldn’t charge at all! The first time it happened the PCS was replaced and was in the shop for two weeks. Now it happened again hundreds of miles from home! What could have happened to have PCS break again? Actually not sure if it’s the PCS again but same symptoms, not charging either supercharging or level two. Any ideas? They are currently stuck hundreds of miles away from home.. on a weekend… and CS could not provide any help.

How do you figure? I'm sure it controls the contactors that route the charge port inlet to the HV battery instead of the AC chargers...

I know nothing about these stuff but if the car isn’t supercharging and Tesla service replaced PCS, then what could have happened?

Fast charge contactors are in the penthouse, but not part of the PCS. The High Voltage Processor (Also, not part of the PCS) controls the fast charge contactors.

Does the car show any errors?

According to them, no errors. It just didn't charge the first time they stopped at a Supercharger. They initially thought it was the stall but tried everything and nothing worked. They had to be towed. Oddly, it happened this weekend again. She said it charged fine at home but didn't work on the Supercharger. They did try the included cable at the hotel but no dice. they're about to give up on Tesla or EVs in general. I feel terrible.
