My original order didn’t have AP on it, so after the free AP thing came out, I clicked the “add AP for $0” button — and it raised the price by $3k. Only got that price fixed a few days before delivery, but it meant my config and MVPA had AP on them. I guess yours didn’t?
Yeah correct but the sale guy that cxl my order for the white on white and reordered the grey said it 5x. You have autopilot just not FSD. I call support and they said they would look into. Going to reach out to the delivery team and SC to see if they can just activate it. I mean I should have to pay anything seeing that it’s included and was always included when I ordered originally. That change was made on the 12th of April I ordered on the 16th then again on the 29th so they should be able to just turn it on.

Yeah, for sure I agree that you SHOULD have it. I was just wondering if the reason I got it without this trouble was that I manually put it on the order.

Man I have to be a little jealous and excited by this post. Jealous because I ordered the exact same spec car on 4/6 and never heard anything (You're the first other person I've seen go "max spec"-if you will). I'm excited though because shmaybe this means one would make it's way to TX soono_O. Can you let me know how you were contacted, how delivery goes, any issues, and how it looks in person?
I ordered the same spec on 3/28 and it is being home delivered today in New Mexico. Texas may be next.

Absolutely! To the best of my recollection my story/order of events went like this:

Placed order online May 1st
Received text May 7th saying delivery tentatively set for May 8th
Received email May 7th about still needing to complete parts of my online profile (This was related to my trade in vehicle)
Received a text May 8th from delivery person requesting confirmation of delivery
I called/emailed and texted 3 Tesla people, My initial sales person from the center I test drove at, the person from the text message and from the email about completing my profile. I needed to push delivery to Saturday.
Delivery changed to May 11th reflected in portal.
Various emails dealing with trade in, pictures, Carmax quote matching.
May 9th everything in portal completed, purchase price updated to include trade in value, email and text about delivery contacting me today (May 10th) about delivery for May 11th. Portal updated with "Next Steps" information about having payment, insurance, all register parties present to sign etc.

So now just waiting to hear form Delivery to finalize details for tomorrow. Still lists my house as delivery location, though I've been requesting delivery at service center. Was told that when I'm contacted today I can work it out with delivery specialist.

Trying to figure out how to pay. Tesla doesn't have a direct CUDL with my credit union like other dealers I've dealt with in the past. Maybe I'll just bring Tesla a briefcase of cash!

Will keep you posted.

Call and/or email Tesla and SA to make sure all the i's and t's are crossed. I found that Tesla is inundated with customers and being proactive is the best counter measure to ensure you're not left behind.

Indeed, now I'm torn between black and red

I think black looks amazing in ALL lights. My problem with red is in some light it's... wtf. In others it's stunning.

But black has other issues, of course... cause it's black.

Still, no regrets on the color.

Ordered on 3/28 red with white interior performance with FSD, I'm on east coast. Was told today that they have a 2018 showroom model with 900 miles on it, of course I prefer a brand new one but I told them if they can knock 3k off the price then I would go for it, worth a try I suppose :b (still no estimate on a new one off the line)
