Missing USB cables. Didn't notice until after I left. (there was a white board with "Out of USB cables" written on it, and underlined.. I assume they just forgot to mention it).

I did ask if they had a 14-50 adapter in stock could buy..
One of the delivery people called the service dept and had them put one aside for me.. Picked it up on my way out.

Overall I was really happy with the process.

Howdy. First post on the forum. Thank you to all the members posting information here! You all were a great help in our eventual purchase decision. This evening we ordered a Model 3 Performance, red/white. Even though our screen name is AZHobos, we are currently living in a no-mans land as far as EVs are concerned in rural SE New Mexico.

This is a big step for us and we are quite nervous. Our last new vehicle purchase was in 1997! For this purchase we are moving up from a 2002 Honda Accord.

Tesla will ship the car to our home in New Mexico, but we are thinking of taking delivery of it in Phoenix, AZ so we can reduce the potential for shipping damage and have a better chance of getting any problems corrected. Thoughts? Advice?

Update:
We placed the order for our red/white performance on July 9th.

Based on recommendations from this thread, we changed from home delivery in rural New Mexico to delivery in Tempe, AZ.

On the 16th, the site updated the new lower price. Yay!

Yesterday was two weeks- no update from Tesla, still no VIN in source code or otherwise. I called and spoke with Ben in sales at the Tempe location. He said that red/white combos typically take a little long and to contact a delivery specialist in a week if we haven’t heard anything to see if there might be a “stipulation at the factory”. I have no idea what that means, but I will impatiently wait and call back next week.

We have a big road trip planned for this car! The waiting is killing us!!!!

I got a call this morning from the delivery center stating that they can't deliver my car today because the vehicle information sticker is missing from the door jam.

Really??? Now the vin is removed from my account. He said he would call by 2pm to give me an update... I didn't get any updates... ugh​

Man! That kinda sucks...I just got a VIN added to my account for my P3D+, no schedule for an appointment yet but my account still says it's scheduled for the 30th.

This sucks. They don't even call me back after cancelling my appointment 2 hours prior to pick up time. I cleared my work calendar and asked my wife to clear hers to drop me off....

Bit the bullet after the price drop and ordered a white w/ black interior performance last Saturday 7/20 after an overnight test drive. Delivery today, 7/25 so super quick turnaround. Literally couldn’t have been an easier process. The car is stunning to look at and even better to drive.

I traded in an incredible ICE performance car. 2018 AUDI RS5. Was in love with it until I got behind the wheel of the 3 performance. Driver experience is unmatched. Added bonus my trade was north of the new 3 performance price so I $0 sales tax! Saving money, Saving gas!
