Phone keys stop working after update...

I’ve searched on here but can’t see any reference to this issue. It’s happened a few times but not every time there’s an update. The car even asks for the key card randomly but a foot on the brake gets it going again.It’s my wife’s IPhone affected too. I’ve booked the car in (2019 PM3) but don’t want to waste my time or Tesla’s.
Any ideas please apart from delete and rescan?

There are a few things to make sure you try:

1. Reboot the car by holding down both buttons on the steering wheel until the screen shuts off. Wait a few minutes for the display to come back on.

2. Reboot the affected phone.

3. Log out and log back in on the Tesla app on the affected device.

4. Uninstall and reinstall the Tesla app.

the easiest solution is to delete the bluetooth connection from both the phone and the tesla app and then reconnect
