Picking up Model Y PUP

Received a call seeing if we wanted to pick up Model Y PUP early. Almost same as car we originally ordered Black vs White interior and this has FSD. Finalized paperwork today for touch less delivery tomorrow. Noticed that our VIN is a really really low number. Is it possible this is a returned or rejected car? East Coast 2xx.

Possible, just do a good inspection and you’ll be fine. They’ve had it for a long time so hopefully all the defects are fixed

If so, your Y is one of few, if not the only with known Pedestrian Warning speaker.
My ViN8XX Y does not have the speaker.

Ours at 148x doesn't have it either but the wiring is there to attach it.

On my Pacifica plug-in hybrid, it also makes noise going forward. I'd imagine the Tesla one would as well.

I wish I could make the sound track for it - that could be fun.

I have Vin# 36X MY PUP delivered to Bellevue, WA. Delivered on 3/24. Paint and panel gaps were flawless. I had Metropolitan Detail in Redmond go over the whole car and apply a CQuartz Pro Ceramic Finish. The only fix was the spoiler was separating from the hatchback on the right side. I called service and I brought it in the next day, got a loaner car and came back the following morning to a brand new replacement spoiler perfectly aligned and attached. This car is now perfect. No problems with a low Vin # couldn’t be happier.
