We're having a bit of warm weather, and yesterday afternoon a little before sundown I decided to wash the car. Finished up as it was starting to get dark, and noticed the paint looked nice in the light. And then I remembered this thread.

You need to just change your perspective. Whenever I see 21 or 22 inch wheel, I think they look uncomfortable.

That says to me you've never been in a model Y with those size wheels before. Performance model aside which is known to have a little harsher ride more so due to the lowered suspension, the bigger wheels on a SR or LR are virtually the same as the 19 geminis. I haven't noticed much of a difference, if any but hey.....it still looks better than the aero caps on the wheels.

Sharp looking rims. Are the brake pads painted, covered, or stock performance?
Also, is that a matte wrap?

Wife ran over a box cutter that was in the street, it cut the OEM tire to the cords. Thankfully, I recently put together a full size spare for these situations. Had to order the replacement OEM Goodyear. Might need to spray the spare with some black plastidip….
