Great feature, but why didn’t they have a confirmation code? This is standard in setting pin codes since forever. Is it intentional or is there something I’m missing?

Not needed. If the initial pincode was not entered correctly you can reset using your Tesla account details.

I think so, depending on parking situations.

Tesla might be able to close this BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) loophole by having the app check that the phone is moving and is near the car.

That doesnt work with the BLE fobs
