Plastic Pin in Trunk - Anyone Know What This Is?

Found this sitting in the base of the trunk and there's no obvious home for it. Anyone know what it is?

It is used in cars to attach carpet or trim to the body. May have just been one dropped in there during production.

I had one fall out and it was holding up the liner on the inside top of the trunk. Look up in the trunk all the way to the left and right. It was a pain to put back in properly. This is the only piece that has fallen out in my car (that I know of).
