PNW Delivery?

Got a VIN assigned! I originally placed an order for a Pearl White Performance with PUP on May 18th. Saw the post a few days ago to maybe try creating another order to see which comes first and then cancel the other order. Placed order for a MSM Performance with PUP yesterday, just checked my account and I have a VIN assigned to me already. VIN 014xx. Possibly an early build?
Just found out the manufacturing date was 5/21/20

My own story continues as well... Without letting me know, they changed my delivery to a home delivery (so, had I not checked the website, I would have shown up at the service center and there would have been no car).

The issue with home delivery is that the car is still in transit (I just called), so the delivery specialist thinks they may try and dump it off the semi directly (don't they have to do prep first...?). I live in an apartment building in the middle of the city with tiny roads surrounding it, and there's no way a semi is fitting, nor will a flatbed have anywhere to drop the car. Hopefully the delivery specialist is just wrong and they're planning on driving the car themselves or something...

that doesn't sound right, if home delivery is what's going to happen, it will likely be offloaded by truck in a mall parking lot (Overlake Mall) like here (phoenix10 (smartish) on Twitter) then driven by someone to your address

I still think they would serve you at their service center instead of home delivery

@andrewmunsell oh wow, hopefully issues are resolved soon and you pick up a car in great shape.

RE: RTA tax, kingcounty's RTA estimator tool is incorrect, at least for the Model 3. I can confirm from my window sticker (make sure you keep yours in case a dispute is needed) that my 2018 LR Model 3 is $35K MSRP, and the calculation adds up based on 35K MSRP and depreciation schedule, renewal last month was: $343
I'm confident it's also off for the Model Y, and MSRP would be 41K.

Received late this morning the text to schedule delivery. Tentatively set for Monday, June 1st, provided it arrives from CA in time for detail, inspection...etc.
LR AWD, MSM, black interior, 19" Gemini's, no FSD, no tow hitch
VIN is ...10XXX
Ordered 02/27/20

More fun! Apparently it's a minor scratch *inside* the rear tailgate on the paint, so they're sending me photos and I have the option of either taking delivery and then letting them fix later, or waiting for them to fix it. Waiting for the photo to make the call, but it's a non-functional issue and someplace I'll never be looking, and unless they really botched the repair I'm not sure why I'd reject delivery in two weeks anyways.

VIN 01496 was assigned to me back in 3/27 but I postponed my delivery. Same MSM PUP with black interior. I was told the car is in Renton delivery center.

My VIN is ~50 less than yours. I was at the Renton Tesla yesterday and they had a MSM PUP with black interior as their test drive unit, must've been yours. I selected mine to be delivered to the Lynnwood Tesla.

WTF???

What happens when you postpone? We got the text today and are still discussing things, may need more time. I put in for a call with Tesla but haven't received it.

Tesla called me couple days after the MVPA showed up on my account and told me the car is ready for me. I told him I want to postpone to June. He said totally fine and asked me to call Renton center whenever I am ready.

For anyone following my story, they called me *12 minutes* before my appointment to tell me they have additional things and wanted to postpone delivery. I asked whether I could see the issues, but didn't get an update from them for a while, so I went into the SC to speak to someone in person. They were fine with me taking delivery and noting the issues to be fixed, and honestly it wasn't anything big. Biggest issue that they found themselves was one scratch on the front left fender that they'll have to sand and repaint, and the front two fender trim pieces will need to be replaced because they aren't seated correctly.

I think I probably found more issues myself (typical Y stuff, back seats, slightly misaligned hatch and consequently a small corner of a taillight is roughed up a bit on the edge, couple paint nicks, etc.). Nothing seemed like it couldn't be fixed or would be dangerous to take a gamble on, so I took delivery and just have these things noted for repair.

Overall, I'm not particularly happy with the lack of communication, but very happy with the car itself. All part of the Tesla experience.

In the Seattle area. I noticed a vin in my source code this morning x106xx. I ordered midnight silver with black interior...LR/AWD/Gemini, no FSD. Hopefully I'll receive a text/contact soon. I am expecting it will be the new Lynnwood deliver center but not sure.
Just receive the delivery text from Tesla. Delivery appointment set for June 3rd at the Lynnwood delivery center. Excited!

I don't have my MVPA yet- RTA is listed at $671, it should be based purely on MSRP of Model Y of 41K x 1.1%, so $451, difference of $220 .. if yours is off, ask for refund of difference from Tesla.

I checked the RTA estimator tool on the DOL website and they list the MSRP of the MY Performance as $61,000. If you Google "Model Y MSRP", you get $60,990. I'm not sure how one could make the argument that the $41K value is what the MSRP should be? Is that what's explicitly listed in the Tesla purchase docs?

The Monroney does actually list $41k base w/ a $11k LR AWD option. Based on this, I think I will contest the RTA tax amount and see what happens. Worst case, they say no and I'm paying what I already am paying now.
