PNW Delivery?

Earlier this evening, I received the automated text saying 'plan for delivery between 6/25-6/28.' I'm 250+ miles from Seattle so I've been told it will be a home delivery (from the online chat interface, anyway).

I've had almost no 'real human' interactions w/Tesla. My trade and payment info has all been in order for weeks. Not sure what happens if they throw the curve-ball to re-evaluate the trade at the 11th hour. As there's not much time for them to manuever.

Also, I'm not *expecting* fit/finish issues, but... what happens in a remote, home deliver like my situation if there are any major issues? It's not like I can pick up and drive to a service center without an overnight trip? Do they allow me to get things sorted locally? Mobile Service?

And do they load up my trade as they unload my Model Y?

Certainly is a bit of a weird experience - unlike any other vehicles I've purchased over the years.

Fingers cross for this week. It feels like a lot of things need to magically align at the last minute.

Anyone else just get the prepare for delivery text?! June 16-28th! :)

I got a text yesterday stating "We currently expect your Model Y to be delivered between 6/23 - 6/25 and will reach out to schedule your delivery once your Model Y is built." Obviously they won't build it today and deliver it this week to the Portland center.

I reached out via chat and eventually got a delivery specialist who said since I had no VIN assigned, it'll likely be /built/ 6/23-6/25 but they don't really know and I will have to wait for another text before we can plan our trip to Portland for delivery.

Not sure about the current wait time, but last time I did a registration in 2018 it took about 6 weeks for the plates to show up in the mail. They aren’t quick.
Any idea in Seattle . I picked up on June 13 and temp is expiring on July 20 . The problem is that i am moving apartments on July 30 . Am i okay to assume that it would come before July 20 ? If not what should i do . Pardon me this is my first car and i dont know how this works

You can reach out to the WA DMV and update your address. Or even better walk into one of the offices and handle it.

Update: Had a missed call from a Tesla rep at 6pm. When I went to check the site, I had a request for final payment and MVPA, so seems like Portland deliveries are still on track before EoQ.

I didn't get a call from Tesla but when I checked my account this morning, I now have a VIN and the MVPA was there. I got the text saying that I should expect my car between 6/26 and 6/29 so looks like it's happening. Ordered 1/30/20 - Red AWD with Black; NO FSD with Tow.

Just got the text. "Your Model Y is on its way to the Portland Delivery Center and ready to be scheduled for delivery! Please schedule your appointment by this afternoon." I was given Friday, 6/26/20, and four different time slots to choose from. So if all goes well, I will be driving my new Model Y off the lot around 3:00 Friday afternoon.

Congrats! I wonder if my black LR will be on the same truck. I selected a Saturday delivery this morning in Bellevue.

Nice! We got the Noon Saturday appointment.

So with all the minor imperfections during delivery , how long is the service center taking to fix them ? I have service scheduled for July 1 but I am planning to start a road trip on July 3 as it’s a holiday ? Am I screwed in my planning ? I only have the doors and trunk not aligned and 2 small paint issues .

i am in Seattle and service is scheduled in Lynnwood center

VIN showed up on my account page. 19xxx. I was told they needed to 're-assess' my trade and send a new picture of the odometer. This worried me a bit, but it didn't change at all -- as some others have said they lost many thousands during the re-assessment.

Final paperwork is showing up tomorrow via FedEx. No expected delivery date yet, but all indications they're pushing for this weekend. All my communications have been from Vegas. Nothing out of the Seattle/Bellevue offices.

I'm a little anxious taking delivery at home -- as it 'complicates' the situation in the event there are major fit/finish issues. I'm willing to deal with some minor things -- as there is a Spokane service center a few hours from here... but...

LR AWD, MSM, 19" Gemini's, no-FSD, tow hitch.

Just got this SMS message from Tesla:
