You'd be surprised. Whilst not road legal and not a lot of comfort, these are quite amazing vehicles in the environment they are designed for.

Farmer Joe could choose between taking one of these or taking the Hilux/LC-79 ute down the paddock. These are cheaper, more rugged, and less likely to get bogged. More manoeuvrable for rounding up some livestock. Easier to get in and out of, can carry a bit of fencing gear, and can tow.

Also a huge cult following in off-road racing (together with Can-Am)...

I'm delighted to see an EV-version at the same performance and same price, to be honest.

Yes they (ICE) have a cult following in the US which probably explains their USD 30,000 price tag
