I went through the mental exercise of what would I buy TODAY with these new price points and offerings? Funny thing is that I would have bought the same car! It is $3K to $4K cheaper today, but I have been driving the future for 9 months, so there's that. I started at $35K and just kept justifying upgrades all the way back to my LR RWD. That makes me feel a little better....

I’d get the $35k as a commuter car and upgrade to a performance in 3+ years once they implement the new battery tech and get 375 on a full charge.

I love my first production car, but I think I would go for the Performance now (taking into account differences in tax credit, my purchase price, and current performance price). Don't know what color I would choose though because I love my silver metallic!

I would choose the same LR, RWD, Silver, 18” wheels, Premium Black Interior and EAP. I am like the OP in that I have been driving the future for 5 months now and getting all of the updates and helping Tesla keep improving.

I got the LR RWD back in August, but if I had to do it again, I would probably get a LRD AWD

I have a black LR with aero, black into and EAP. $54000
Now I’d get a white LR AWD with aero, black interior, and AP. $52000. Never really used ANY of the feature that the new FSD offers.

Yup, I'd re-order the Model 3 Performance... but cheaper (by nearly $11k).
