Stoked my Plaid X finally came in.(ordered 01/05/21) Went down to pick it up and upon doing a walk-through noticed some issues. This isn't to bash Tesla, but to show the lack of QC coming off of the factory. For a ~ 150K car this shouldn't even be a question... but I think they are trying to pump them off the assembly line as quick as they can. There was another customer next to me picking up his Y and the window went down halfway and wouldn't even roll back up
Trunk liner totally missing. Also a small curved plastic cover floating around. (no clue where it goes?)
VERY noticeable gap in falcon door. >1/4"
Tail light cracked
Also, the rear bumper looks like it was barely painted. Compare to the heavy pearl coat on the body, it looks like it had 1/2 coat.
Current 2018 VS plaid
I still took delivery of the car. The service said I just have to file a claim through the app. I know it will get fixed, but some of this is just blatant oversight. Anyways, the cr is fun to drive and the refreshed interior is much more accommodating than my 18'.
