pop sound when AP breaks -- normal?

I hear a popping sound occasionally (almost like a rock hitting the windowsill), but haven't associated it with AP. I will pay closer attention

There is a thunk nearly every time TACC brakes at slow speeds to a stop in my car. Not sure if it's normal. I don't think I hear it at higher speeds but road noise may be masking it.

wow AP breaks? Or did you mean brake?

I hear a noise as well when AP brakes or slows down significantly. It's kind of like a declining rattling noise. The most similar noise is a roulette ball slowing down on the wheel, just before it settles.

Only AP though. When I pump the brakes, no noise.

Yep, this is exactly what I hear.

I hear the same. Sounds like its coming from behind the brake pedal or behind the left front fender.

I believe it is the spring-loaded brake pedal rattling a bit, when your foot isn't on it and it is actuated at a certain level by AP as mentioned above. Normal in our builds it seems and predictable in my particular car.
