Powerwall backup question

Not if cable wifi and cell towers are down post hurricane.

As ucmndd said, with the electric backed up in the home, (like mine is), the gateway still provides it's own IP address which you can connect to. Last week, SRP (our electric provider) went down for 15 minutes, my tablet was still connected to the Gateway and showing power coming from the PVs to the house and PWs. The grid symbol had an X through it showing it was down.

The local connection to TEG wifi always works, and once you have the powerwall on your local network your local network access always works regardless of your internet being up/down. The Powerwall will NOT be connected to tesla, but everything will continue on as set up until it can reconnect. 100% works for local monitoring without internet.

Ok thank you. I've been trying and I get an; 'Error: Unable to set password (Toggle Error... I think I gotta go Tesla Tech Support.
