Is the same rear propulsion motor used for both RWD and AWD?

The performance AWD and standard/performance RWD cars use the same basic larger rear motor, however there are firmware differences between the years and performance/non-performance versions. The non-performance AWD cars use the smaller motor front and rear with slightly different gear ratios between them.
