I caught a puddle and a wave came in from both sides that wet my legs and the passenger's.
It never happened to me, you know why? Thanks

But aren't the ducts in the center of the car? Water entered from the sides.

Yes, the ducts are directed outwards from the center area between the two footwells.

Are you saying that the water hit your knees or thighs rather than feet? Did the puddle splash all the way up to the windows? At the front top corner of the side windows there is a little rubber flap that can be in the wrong position allowing water ingress at that point. This is more often noticed in rain rather than a puddle. I posted pictures some years back.

The water hit my left calf, under the steering wheel. The water got under the dashboard, including from the passenger side.

This happened to me in my 2.0 Roadster a few years back. There is a very obvious leak in most, if not all, of the Roadsters down in the footwell. This can be confirmed by driving in cold weather without shoes on - you'll feel the air blatantly coming into the footwell.

LOL - unfortunately not. However, it was because of the water entering my footwell that I decided to test further and there’s clearly a lot of cold air entering by the feet. Tested on both a 2008 and 2010.
