Radiator Cooling Fan Squeak/Rattle

Taking my car to the service center on Friday to get a new cooling fan installed. Thought I'd post a few videos. Less than 5,000mi on the car, it's been doing this since new and I finally got a video of it.

They've also got a front & rear suspension re-torque on the appointment as well, for all of the clunks, pops, and rattles I'm experiencing. Hope it's a worthwhile visit.

Interesting. IIRC, yours is the second MY to report an issue with the coolant fan, and I've been reading here since late 2020.

I had the same noise two months ago on cooler weather. Booked service, and they replaced:
COOLING FAN AND SHROUD SERVICE ASSEMBLY (1494179-00-B)
warranty covered.

Oh- i'll have to record the sound on mine, too. It makes that same high pitch squealing sound as the first video. Thanks for sharing.

Nice! Looks like an easy warranty fix with a video attached to the service appt then. 1494179-00-B is the same one on the cost estimate I have for Friday.

I checked the service manual, and it looks like they have to drain the coolant loop in order to get to the fan, so Mobile Service probably won't be an option on this one.
