hey guys,

I have seen these model s for kids.

I would like to get one for the kids. Unfortunately they don't ship to Australia, even if I manage to have one shipped here (father in law lives in California) it runs on 110v. Has anybody here mangled to bring one to Australia?

Discuss with someone at Jaycar electronics. A step down transformer is easy. However, not too sure about the 60 Hz in the states vs 50 Hz here, and what that would to rechargeable batteries and their charger. Maybe nothing. Worth asking the manufacturer the question.
Here is one reference essentially saying it would work just fine. Will the lower frequency of 50Hz AC affect overall charging time?
