Range difference 2022 vs 2023 Y Performance Canada

I notice the Tesla site lists the range of the 2023 Y Performance at 459 km's vs 488 km's for the 2022. The American site still shows the range of a 2023 Y Performance at 303 miles which is = to 488 km's. Anyone know why the difference?

If it makes anyone feel better, I own a July build 2022 MYP (Oakville) and the 488km range is hogwash. From the first week my max range was 460km and after 9 months max is now 447/448km.

It could be the new range estimate is closer to reality. I’d wait to see what current 2023 owners are reporting as max range vs real world driving. Also it’s no secret the 21” Ubers are like lead weights for an EV. One can prob improve range by switching to a lighter forged rim. Personally it’s enough for my families needs but if I ever needed more, I’d go AM rims .
