Re-trimmed steering wheel

Just finished fitting newly re-trimmed steering wheel.

Very pleased with the finish, really makes the whole interior feel like new when driving.

I went with nappa all round, but perforated at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock, centre stripe at 12 o’clock in the same material, original thickness, dark grey stitching.

Fitting was easy apart from needing two attempts to get the wheel back on dead-centre.

What do you all think?

Do you mean re-trimming, or the fitting?

Trimming work was done by royal steering wheels here in the U.K. You give them your specification and they send you a re-trimmed wheel identical to your year/model. With the old wheel removed and the new one fitted you then send them the old one as an exchange (meaning you can keep driving the car whilst your “new” wheel is being trimmed).

I see, thanks for the info. Is it pricey? ($1000 or more) I know you are in the UK, so may be British Pounds?

£180 GBP (around $240 USD) - very reasonable IMO

Oh man that’s a lot! You may aswell just buy a new oem wheel at that price.
