I ran the numbers, it doesn't make sense to wait for the tax bill for me even if it passes today. I just want my car already. Checked about 10 times since midnight, still no EDD change.

Called the local dealership, they confirmed my order is complete, and said I should get my vin in the next couple of weeks. I'll still believe it when I see it

I still don't believe the people at the dealers or "advisors" know any real information. They're just guessing.

BLUF: You'll get your car when you get it.

Don't overthink it. If you have no desire for tow, why add it to your order in hopes of getting a car faster? There's no clear methodology being applied to order fulfillment but this is nothing new.

I wouldn't even think about it. The one constant in this whole VIN/EDD debacle has been further-extended wait-times for config changes. Don't reset the clock on yourself.

I'm guessing Cali MYP orders are lowest priority at this point in time. Everyone I've talked to... SA, people at Tesla store in 2 different malls...say the same thing...you'll for sure get your order by "end of year". They basically know that the majority of MYP orders in Cali/West Coast regardless of order date are going to be delivered during EOQ push versus sooner.

Looks like all the 2022 vins are prioritized outside of California first and this batch has lots of tow options.

My SA said my car is going to be built sometime next week too and for me to expect a vin. My EDD is 11/15-12-12

Got a more firm delivery date: 11/18-11-22. I ordered on 10/21. MSM, tow and black. No FSD.
