SO CAL is getting vins, NOR CAL coming soon it seems.

I'm picking up in Carlsbad. I feel like I'll probably get a VIN at any time with my EDD range staying in March. May be wishful thinking though?

I went to the Tesla store today to check out the model Y in person. I ordered on 2/08 (MYP, red/white, no FSD, no tow) without ever physically seeing one or even a test drive. While I was there I asked about my order and he looked it up for me. He said it will be built this coming Friday 3/18. From the beginning my EDD has always been 3/15-3/31 so if Friday holds up I should take delivery around 3/23 (just a guess) which is spot on for the EDD. I haven’t received a VIN yet but expect that shortly.

Got pushed yesterday from 3/15 - 3/31 to 3/19 - 4/2. A slight narrowing, but also out a bit further.

Similar for me. Went from 3/16 - 3/31 to this morning's update of 3/21 - 4/04. MYP white/black/no options San Diego (Carlsbad). No vin.

For the first time, no EDD change on the 2nd day of my window. Pinged the SA yesterday and they told me to stfu and be patient. At least, that was my interpretation.

Does anyone know if these confirmation texts are sent out everyday or once/twice a week? I ordered my MYP white/black on 1/19 and besides my EDD being pushed to 3/21-4/4, nothing else. Hoping to take delivery before the EOQ.

I’ve never received a text regarding my VIN. Yesterday I received a text telling me to get ready for delivery but nothing about a VIN.

Finally received my VIN (F406xxx) this morning after 6 EDD changes. I did not confirm with SA whether it is Ryzen CPU.

I asked my SA ahead of time if I would have them and he said yes.

When I showed up they weren’t on. They apologized and took the car back and put them on in about 15 min.

I took delivery in KC and it sounds like they do it by request. I’d say asking ahead of time is key.

Thanks! All of my EDDs got pushed back prior to receiving my VIN. It arrived this morning with another new EDD which is 3/19 - 3/22.

1st EDD of March 9-31

Looks like a lot of focus for last minute west coast cars which makes sense due to quick deliveries for the EOQ. Starting to lose faith after losing my VIN and only a week out to be in my 3 day delivery window.

I'm becoming skeptical as well, ordered same configuration as you on 1/4 and up until yesterday my EDD has always been by the end of this Month. Then all of a sudden it changed to 6/11 - 7/23.
